We have trails for all ability levels. Your guide will help you choose the trail that’s right for your ability. We have everything from easy and flat, to gentle climbs with gentle down hill. We even have challenging single-track trails to test your skills through the forests and glades. Beginner skiers are welcome to choose a groomed surface.
Your guide will provide instruction so you can learn techniques to maximize your efficiency. You will learn uphill climbing techniques, downhill techniques, and correct body positioning to keep your style balanced and smooth.
We provide a quality backcountry setup with skis with metal edges, and sturdy over the ankle leather boots. We also provide gaiters, poles, a pack, bottled water, and use of a breathable wind shell.
Choose from a Half-day Tour or our “Classic” Tour with a picnic lunch. For the morning tour, we pick you up at 8:30 and return you at Noon, so you can go out to lunch or enjoy an afternoon activity. Our Afternoon Tour goes from 1:00 to 4:30, giving you the morning free. The Half-day Tours give you plenty of time out on the trail.
Our “Classic” Tour is completely flexible timing so we can work it around your schedule. The “Classic” Tour includes a picnic lunch, and we take your lunch order, so everyone gets the type of sandwich, wrap, or salad that they prefer. We typically pick up at 9 or 10am, so the timing for lunch is at the highpoint of our outing. We typically choose a beautiful destination with an amazing panoramic view.
Typical distances are as little as 1 mile, or as vigorous as 10 miles. We customize the tour to be perfect for your ability. Uphill difficulty varies with your desires.
Our private guided tours are easy for you to plan. We pick you up at the door of your hotel or residence, transport you to the trailhead, and provide all of the gear that you will need to be outfitted like a pro.
