Trail Wise Colorado 14s

Test your endurance on an all-day climb of a legendary Colorado 14er. We have many difficulty levels to choose from, however all are challenging.

We climb peaks in the Holy Cross Wilderness Area, The Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area, and the San Isabel National Forest. These hikes typically start in the thick timber around 10,000 ft. elevation, break timberline at about 12,000 ft., and all of these summits lay above 14,000 ft. You’ll be on the rooftop of our continent.

While these are not technical hikes, they are long and require very good physical condition. Round Trip mileages range from 8-16 miles. Vertical gain ranges from 4000ft. to 6000ft. You may also be exposed to weather, so being able to move swiftly helps.

We typically pick you up at 4:30am, and return you around 5-7pm. We provide snacks throughout the trip, and the tour comes with a picnic lunch. We take your lunch order, so everyone gets the type of sandwich, wrap, or salad that they prefer.

We provide hikers with trekking poles, pack, goretex jacket, hat, mittens, rain poncho, snacks, and bottled water. We provide gaiters if necessary.

Our private guided tours are easy for you to plan. We pick you up at the door of your hotel or residence, transport you to the trailhead, and provide all of the gear that you will need to be outfitted like a pro.
