Rock Climbing
Understand how protection systems work, learn the dynamics of rope handling, and develop a sense for comfortably moving on rock, while spending a day in the heart of Colorado’s high country.

Full Day Climbs

- Lead climbing instruction is available
Climbing shoes, while not a requirement to rock climb, can enhance the climbing experience. We can arrange climbing shoe rental at an additional cost ($8-10 per pair).

2-day Climb & Camp
An ideal way for families or groups to spend time together learning new skills, exploring their strengths, and immersing themselves in the Vail area backcountry.
- Day 1 – focuses on the fundamentals of climbing: safety, gear, history and the techniques of climbing and protection systems. Plenty of time on the rock will begin to develop your skills for a second day of advanced climbing.
- Spend the night car-camping near the climb sites with your guide. Dinner, breakfast, lunches and all camping gear is provided.
- Day 2 – provides ample time for lots of climbing. Additional instruction on technique, belaying and rappelling are also covered.
