About Karen

My husband and I moved to the Vail Valley in 1990, where I was soon was hired at Paragon to run the office and reservations. Over 3 decades later, and two, now grown, kids later, Paragon has seen a lot of growth and change, but I continue to be a presence in the background operations.

Fun facts: I'm married to an Irish Musician, so we've traveled to Ireland quite a bit. I volunteer for a raptor education non-profit taking hawks, owls, falcons, and eagles to schools and other programs. I am also an ecology writer with a blog on Substack.
