When you sign up for an adventure with Paragon Guides, there is information that we will need to stay in contact with you, pay for your trip, to provide accommodations, and medical help if needed. This information is collected via our Reservation system and trip forms. This will include:
For Day Tours
- Name
- email address
- preferred contact phone number
- home address
- payment information
- Allergies and dietary considerations, such as special diets or allergic reactions, such as bee stings or peanuts
For Multi-Day Trips:
The same information as our Day Tours, with the addition of our Medical History form. This will include:
- Health insurance information
- Medications
- Medical history relevant to spending time in the backcountry, including heart conditions and prior high-altitude sickness
- Pertinent medical and physical accommodations, such as back, knee, and shoulder conditions and prior injuries.
- Dietary considerations, such as vegetarian or gluten-free
- Allergies to include food, medicines, and contact reactions
- Any information that your guides, trained in Backcountry Medicine, should know about you to facilitate the best outcomes for your trip.
How Paragon stores and handles this information
Your contact and medical information are stored in our secure in-house reservation system. The only employees to have access to your information are the administrative staff and the Head Guide for your trip or tour.
Your payment information stays within the QuickBooks payment system, which is PCI Compliant for the secure handling of credit card and bank account numbers. Paying your invoice via email or online places your payment information within the QuickBooks system.
In the event of a medical emergency, your Medical History form will be supplied to the Emergency Response and Hospital Staff for their best care of you.
Paragon Guides, Inc never sells or shares your data. All personal information is stored in our secured systems and is never provided to outside entities unrelated to the running and management of your backcountry trip.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Your guides often take pictures on day tours or trips and will share them with you after the trip if available. Photos taken by our guides might be used in our social media posts, website, or other marketing materials. If you prefer that photos taken of yourself or family members NOT be used for Paragon’s marketing, please let our staff know, and your request will be honored. Photos are never sold to outside entities.
