FAQ
Your guides will be watching the weather forecast closely for your climb day. We do recommend that you choose a morning climb option due to Colorado’s consistent afternoon thunderstorm patterns. In the event of wet weather predicted, we will cancel or reschedule. In the event of a sudden thunderstorm, we will seek immediate shelter and likely call it a day since the rock will be wet. Weather cancellations prior to tour departure are not charged.
The climb sites we use have a variety of climb options from easy to challenging. Your guides will consult with you and choose routes to match and gently challenge where your skills are at.
Ropes, hardware, helmets and harnesses are thoroughly inspected after each use and retired if wear is noted. Ropes are rated with not only in the weight they can hold, but in the strength to handle a fall.
The belay systems and safety protocols used that are industry standards make rock climbing at this level a very safe activity if all protocols are followed. Your guides will provide extensive safety information, and take additional measures to ensure your ‘on-belay’ experience is secure.
what participants are saying
We had the best guide for our hike with Paragon. A gentleman named Nate with tons of guiding experience took us on a beautiful driving tour followed by an amazing hike. He was very knowledgeable, flexible, and accommodating. We truly could not have asked for a better experience.
